Member of the Month April 2017

We would like to announce Brian McKittrick is the member of the month for Lincroft First Aid and Rescue Squad.

Brian is a hard working member who goes above and beyond everyday. He currently is one of LFRAS Engineers for 2017, and can not wait to make his way up the Line. LFARS is grateful for the dedication and hard work that Brian does for the Squad.

1. How old are you?

I am 22 years old.

2. How long have you been a member of LFARS and what year did you join?

I joined Lincroft First Aid & Rescue Squad on November of 2015.

3. What is your favorite part of being a member of LFARS?

The family mentality of the Squad and the other members that I ride with.

4. What are some of your favorite hobbies?

When I have some free time, I like to go camping and catching up/hanging out with friends.

5. What do you do for work?

I work as the auto tech at Best Buy, as well as a paid Emergency Medical Technician.

6. What is your ideal vacation?

I honestly do not have an “ideal vacation”. Just give me a weekend where I can go camping with friends and have a good time.

7. What made you want to join LFARS and why do you answer calls?

Three of my close friends reside in the Lincroft section of the Township, and they are the ones that convinced me to join the Squad. I answer calls because I have been on the “other” side of EMS by having to call 911 during an emergency for my grandmother. I remember the fear and panic that came across me of not being able to help, and I never wanted to feel that again. When EMS showed up and I saw that they were taking excellent care of her, that's when I realized I wanted to help others.
