Lincroft First Aid Dive Team
The dive team is a subset of squad memebers that the responsibility for water rescue, ice rescue, underwater search and recovery services. The dive team maintians unique equipment that is specific to thier operation. They are to keep this equipment in proper condition so that it is ready for use on a moment's notice. Dive team SOG's will dictate the appropriate usage and operators of equipment.
Four of the five Squads of Middletown Township 5-Squad Association have a Water Rescue/Dive Teams. The Dive Teams are a subset of squad members that are responsible for water rescue, ice rescue, underwater search and recovery services. These four Dive Teams make up the Middletown Township Water Rescue Task Force.
Although each Dive Team operates financially under a different Squad with different administrative procedures – the Water Rescue Task Force operates and trains as a single unit.
The mission of Middletown Township Emergency Services Water Rescue Task Force is to provide water rescue and recovery capabilities to the citizens of Middletown Township and surrounding areas in Monmouth County.
The Middletown Twp. Emergency Services Water Rescue Task Force is responsible for answering water rescue, ice rescue and underwater rescue/recovery calls in the township of Middletown and the surrounding areas in Monmouth County as per the County of Monmouth, Office of the Fire Marshal Mutual Response Plan. The foundation of our Standard Operating Guideline’s has come from the minimum standards of the Lifeguard Systems Recommended Minimum Equipment and Safety Standard Operating Procedures & Guidelines: Limited Visibility Ops.
